What is visual identification?
Visual identification is a form of social communication between a sender (a firm) and recipients (customers, decision makers, cooperating companies, etc.). The rules of corporate visual identification aim at creating positive images of a given company or of its products, and consolidating them in the opinion of customers, workers and on the area of the firm's business activity.
Visual identification includes: patterns concerning a logotype, a logo, a corporate colour pattern, coexistence of the logo with other graphic elements, etc. Symbols and shapes are important elements of visual identification, however, what is more important is reception, that is the whole as perceived by the target group.
A properly designed and skilfully used identification system becomes an effective and economic marketing tool.
