The analysis of needs, market research, untypical requirements - conversation.
This is the first and, at the same time, the most important stage of a project. Decisions on the mentioned items, made already at the start, influence the end result and the competitiveness of an online application (a webpage, a CMS system, an online store, etc). Already at the start, during our conversation with you we determine a recipient group of your Internet application, the functions and foundations which must be fulfilled by a finished project. At this stage we recognize your needs and expectations thanks to which we can offer IT solutions, adequate to your needs, taking into account the available budget and materials. We always take into consideration your scope of activity (the specificity of your business line), we pay strong attention to your competition's operations so that your company can be presented more professionally. Then we establish the details: the appearance, the colours, the layout, the number of subpages, the content of additional elements, and we take into account untypical requirements.
Layout of elements - the structure of a website.
The second step is to determine the structure of a web application. It is essential to define the hierarchy of elements, so that the most important functions which are used by the visitors will be available on the main page of the project. We work on the relationship of functions, resources and menu elements. Another very essential factor is ergonomics - to maximally facilitate for visitors finding information important for them.
Visualisation of decisions - a graphic project + acceptance.
At this stage a graphic artist uses all the decisions and arrangements made before. He/she turns pure theories, sketches and drawings into a complete visualization. He helps graphically to put raw ideas and conceptions into the Internet world. The graphic artist must set the proportions between the information (the content) and the graphics of the home page. Websites with plenty of information should avoid expanded graphics because it results in the effect of being lost. Visitors become distracted when too many elements of a website appeal, or rather shouts at them him. It is similar with the FLASH technology, which guarantees magnificent visual effects but considerably hampers positioning and often lengthens the time of search for information due to the long loading time. A good graphic project is a combination of a few technologies, where each element should be properly weighed and well suited to the rest. It should evoke positive associations of the firm. Sometimes it is a reference to the company's logo, in other cases, it is the symbolism of the business line, the product, the region in which the business activity is conducted. A graphic artist who is creative, ambitious and technically skilled will choose an appearance of the website suitable for the business activity and will create practical and functional design in a professional manner. All activities completed, the finished work is presented to you and it is followed by potential corrections. The accepted design is cut up into basic elements and sent with extensive guidelines to the programmer.
The programmer's magic - connecting the code with the graphics of a website.
At this stage the cut up graphic project is put together with suitable implemented modules. The programming code becomes integrated with the graphic elements and the database. At that moment the application (a website, a CMS system, an online shop) becomes interactive – its buttons begin to take us to particular pages of the website, and data from online forms go to databases or is distributed to mail boxes. Then the website becomes vibrant with life, we implement animations and we supplement the website with necessary content.
Now is the time of test - The big day!
Testing consists in validation of operations performed on the website, the implemented modules on the basis of action and reaction. Also, we check the correctness of projection (cross-browsing) on all most important browsers so that visitors will be able to enjoy the efficiency of the website on various hardware platforms. At this stage any shortcomings connected with the website operation are eliminated. Let's set off! The last stage of the works on the website is to put it in a suitable domain and deliver all confidential data (logins and passwords). We always provide free training for your employees in admin panel operation and all IT systems.
