Websites - technologies

For the creation of website designs, we use the newest technologies available on the market and we select them according to the specific needs of a given project. Thus, the customer is provided with a high-quality product, closely adapted to his or her needs. Some of the most frequently used technologies are presented below:

HTML (HyperText Markup Language): a language consisting of tags, used for writing WWW pages.

DHTML: a conventional name for the methods for changing content, appearance, and behavior of HTML documents dynamically, which allows for interaction between the user and the WWW page, and facilitates the use of visual effects.

CSS (Cascading Style Sheets): a language used for description of the ways in which WWW pages are formatted. A style sheet is a list of directives (called “rules”) that web browsers use for rendering text inside a given HTML/XHTML/XML element, and other document components described by a given element. CSS is used for defining all the attributes of the HTML documents’ appearance, such as: fonts, colors, margins, line spacing, and even the position of a given element in relation to other elements or to the entire page. Creation of WWW pages using CSS makes web browsers to display them faster.

JavaScript: object-oriented scripting programming language, primarily used for web pages. Scripts written in JS are mostly used for providing interactive features, verification of the correctness of HTML forms and creation of navigational elements (e.g. collapsible menus).

Flash (Action Script): a leading technology for creation of animation-based WWW pages. The changes introduced in version Flash MX 2004 (especially ActionScript 2) make it also an extensive programming environment.

PHP, initially named Personal Home Page: scripting programming language used primarily for creation of dynamic WWWW pages, executable by the server itself, and embeddable in HTML (or XHTML). PHP also allows for cooperation with multiple relational database management systems (e.g. MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQLite) and utilization of alternative data storage formats: text files and XML files. It can be executed on the majority of operating systems, including the most popular ones, and net servers.

SQL (Structured Query Language): an internet programming language used for creation and modification of databases, as well as for uploading and downloading data from them. It is a declarative language. Decisions on the way the data is stored and downloaded is left to the database management systems.

MySQL – enjoys the reputation of one of the fastest database servers, which make it ideal for serving the most frequently visited WWW pages.

The list above mentions only the most important technologies, however, our knowledge is much more extensive!
